No matter what make or size your engine is we have an effective lock that will fit it, helping to secure your investment and protect yourself against outboard crime. Our full range of outboard motor locks includes slot locks for smaller outboards and bolt locks for larger engines that are mounted to the transom with bolts through the stern.
Our outboard motor slot locks are convenient to use and can be used on any petrol outboard motor that is clamped to a boat's transom using toggle screws. Bolt locks are recommended for four stroke outboard motors because of their extra weight. *We also recommend that a bolt lock is fitted to any new engine of 8hp and bigger.
*To enable this we manufacture brass bushes for 8mm and 10mm bolts

We have spent years in research and development of our outboard motor locks and we are proud that some of our lock designs have reached finals of national and international marine equipment design awards. The products we sell today are the result of this stringent and effective research work carried out to briefs from trade commissions.
We have also worked with the guidance of Sold Secure and a provisional test procedure SS112 (2006) was written to provide an Icoma standard for testing outboard motor locks worldwide. OML Ltd provided the test jigs and some research for this work.

Med Bolt LockThe Med Bolt Lock is a simple and highly cost-effective outboard engine security solution popular with high volume boat builders. It is supplied with a black plastic dust cap (The Med Bolt Lock was formerly known as the 44090)

Pacific Bolt LockThe Pacific Bolt Lock is our original lock that now uses the same high security locking head as the Volcano (see below). The Pacific Bolt Lock is much sought after by our French distributor as it represents excellent value for money. A black plastic cover is supplied and a percussion cap can be supplied as an optional extra.

The Volcano The Volcano Bolt Lock represents the pinnacle of OML’s bolt lock development. It is now regarded by many in the industry as the best bolt lock on the market as it has been designed and built to resist criminal tube jemmying. We recommend that a percussion cap, available from us, is also fitted for additional security.

The 195mm version was chosen by Suzuki UK as its preferred slot lock while the 230mm was chosen by Honda dealers to lock their electric-start models upto 30hp.

Baltic Slot LockThe Baltic Slot Lock is possibly the only outboard engine slot lock with an injection-moulded rubber anti-vibration interior. Launched in Europe in 2005, originally as the ‘Yamlock’, it now incorporates our high-security locking head (HSH). Supplied with a black dust cap.

Small Slot Lock The Small Slot Lock incorporates all the improvements learned from our work with Honda to create their Honda Lock. The OML Small Slot Lock is a single unit using an seawater friendly Alko brass lock. It is suitable for Suzuki 2.5hp and Honda 2.3hp outboard motors only.

The clamp lock is designed for any size of toggle, and this clamp lock is adjustable so it fits all known clamping screw lengths! 140 mm for Mercury, Mariner and Tohatsu. 110 mm for all remaining brands.
